1 x A4 PDF Template - the sheet contains 1 large and 1 medium flower template.
How i made my flowers
The flowers pictured above have been made out of my Xerox Bold 32lb / 120gsm printing paper. The flowers can be made out of card but you won't be able to cut as many layers at one time and you will need to use more pressure when using your ball tool.
Using my printable template I multi-cut 6 layers of paper in one go to save time.
Simply print out the template sheet
Pop as many sheets behind it that you feel comfortable cutting and by following the thick black outline cut out the poinsettia shape
I ran my ball tool around the outside of each petal to give shape and definition.
I then ran my ball tool from the tip of the petal down to the centre of the flower and added some little vein detail off the main vein on each side.
The pearl effect is the docrafts pearl metallic paint which I painted on to mimic the poinsettia veins.
I used stamens in the centres - if you would like to see how I pop stamens into flowers I do have a little video (about 7 minutes in)
The hole in the middle will help guide you where the centre is to make a little hole.

Here is 1 of the flowers cut out. This is how i add shape round the petal using my ball tool and foam mat.

What tools i used to make them
- Glue gun
- 7mm ball tool and foam mat to form the flowers
- scissors
- something to make the hole in the centre - knife, hole punch, pokey tool etc..
- Stamens
- wire to make a bobby pin for the wire (this is for the technique i did in the video if you are using double ended stamens)
- Metallic paint ( i used docrafts but there are lots of different makes out there)
- Paint brush
